Greta & James E-Session

Greta and James are getting married in October so a while back we did a session Down Town Wilmington. We had so much fun! Greta and James were just naturals in front of the camera... I can not wait til the wedding. The wedding is going to be sound side amongst these gnarly old oak trees and then they are going to head off to Blue Water via boat - how cool... so definitely stay tuned for that. Check them out :O)

Jessica & Shawn

Jessica and Shawn were married June 6th at Candles on the Cape Fear River Deck. Jessica and Shawn have got to be one of our cutest couples this year. It really makes my job extra fun and rewarding when you can tell that your couple really loves each other. The day was filled with lots of laughter, smiles and even a few tears - thanks again Roberta, Chris and Melodee :O) Well enough of my rambling check out their wedding. Roberta at http://www.verzaalsflorist.com/ did the killer flowers and Chris & Melodee at http://www.partygrasentertainment.com/index.htm helped to get the party started -what a party it was!!!

A Special Thanks goes out to Roy at The City Market and Howard at Candles for making this images possible!!!

Check out their wedding slide show!

Brittany & Dan's Esession

Brittany and Dan choose to do their e-session at the Oceanic Pier and southend of Wrightsville Beach so out we went. It was a fun time, especially laughing at Brittany :O) Dan was a little nervous but he soon warmed up. Maybe it was all those cracks about Twilight I was making. Brittany and I love, love the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer. I do not know why all the men I know, Derick & Dan included, turn their noses up to it. Any who...I highly recommend reading them to anyone who is still debating. Man those books are like crack - one taste and your hooked! We are anxiously awaiting the New Moon release in November - maybe it will be better considering their extra cash flow this time. Well enough about that - here is Brittany & Dan lovin it up on the beach. Oh and stay tuned for Brittany's wedding images soon!

Chris VanAtta Photography's TTD Session

A couple weeks ago I was really bummed out...had some issues going on and needed someone to talk to quick before I made a rash decision. So I called up our friend Chris for some advise. I would describe Chris as a crazy, free spirited, Faith loving :O), fung shui kind of dude. So after talking with him, he helped me do what was right even if it was wrong-confused much? Well it is a long story, but anyhow the wrong right decision totally bumped me out more...yuck. But then my knight in shinning armour, Derick, suggested we go with Chris and photograph this trash the dress session he had at Fort Fisher. I hesitated but craved in - I thought would just go and watch or help hold the light or something. Well I ended up shooting the whole time with Chris and had a fab time. It was the perfect distraction and mood adjuster - I had a great time shooting and renewed my spirit too. So thanks to Chris and a big thanks to Amber for letting me play too. Check out some of the fun images I caught.

OH yeah...check out Chris's blog to for the full shoot. Here's a quick link http://chrisvanattaphoto.blogspot.com/

Colby's Bridals

I have been holding on to these awesome images of Colby since April - man. First I had to wait for her to get married and then I had to wait for a free minute to update the blog. While here at last is Colby's bridal session. OMG did she ever work it out...we went everywhere with her and loved every minute of it. She was totally down with looking hot and yet very elegant and reserved at the same time - I want to clone her! These are my favorites out of 700+ images...I would love to post like 100 or so but I will just do these - my all time fav 13! Enjoy.

Thanks Colby!

Jessica's Bridals

We have spent a day or two out at Orton Plantation this year. We do enjoy shooting there, always something new to do or a different angle to shoot from. A while back we met Jessica out at the plantation to do her bridal session. We had multiple ideas swimming around in the noodle but when we seen her - OMG- take my breathe away...we did a 360. She totally styled that 1920's look. Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

Whitney & Charles

Whitney and Charles were married on May 30th at Orton Plantation Chapel with their reception following at the UNCW Alumni House. This was our first time meeting Whitney & Charles - yeah- on the wedding day, so I was a little nervous. OMG..what a cool couple. We had a great time photographing them all day - you could really tell they were head over heels for each other. They had such an infectious laugh - so we laughed right along with them laughing at each other. And I have to throw this in- Whitney, girl, AYKM....drop dead gorgeous bride! Here are a few of their images from the day.

A shout out to Roberta at Verzaals Florist for rocking out Witney's bouquet!

Check out the slide show of the wedding day below!
