Stephanie and Justin were married on March 22nd ( yeah...we are behind some in blogging ) on the shore in front of the Carolina Beach Marriott. It was a beautiful day and fun wedding party. Sherry & Tommy

Sherry & Tommy were married March 21st on the waterfront in Scotts Hill. The ceremony site was beautiful. I love those aged oaks with the spanish moss. Sherry and Tommy had spotted this site one day as they boated along the waterway and fell in love with it. The ceremony was very family oriented with Tommy's daughter standing because Sherry as maid of honor and Sherry's son beside Tommy as best man. They wrote their own vows - even on Ace Hardware leader head :O) and I do not think anyone had dry eyes. The reception followed at Castle Bay Club in Hampstead. Adrian & John E-Session

A couple weeks ago we met Adrian & John at Wrightsville Beach to do their e-session. It was a little brisk that day but the images turned out rather nice. Here is the slide show of their session.

Ashley's Senior Session

Ashley will be in the graduating class of 2009 from Ashley High this year. Man I sure do remember how happy I was to end my high school career way back in the day :O) To commemorate this event we decided to head out to Fort Fisher to do a senior session. This was our first senior session, so we really did not know exactly how to handle it. I figured we would just pretend she was a mobile bride or something - it worked. Ashley also was super - she did not need a lot of direction or coaching - I would love to have a bride with that natural ability every time. Here are a few shots from her session.

Stephanie & Jason

Stephanie and Jason were married on March 7th at the Cameron Art Museum. We had a great time seeking out new locations to try this day - our first time to Cameron. The day was wonderful, bright blue sky and warm spring breeze....someone was looking out for them :O) Stephanie made such a cute little bride and was very low maintenance, none of that bride to be jitters or anything. She did get a little torn up during the ceremony - trying to fight back tears. Lauren and Eric were in Wilmington a few days ago and we decided to do their engagement session down at Fort Fisher. How many times have we been to FF - I stopped counting :O) Each time we go the beach has something new to offer. Here is the slide show of their images - Enjoy.

Off to WPPI

We head out on Saturday morning to WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers International) annual trade show. This year it is going to be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It will give us a chance to check out new equipment and learn new tricks for the 2009 wedding season.

Jana's Bridals

Jana wanted to do her bridals at Fort Fisher - so we headed out there on a very cool day just a couple weeks before the wedding. We work well under pressure :O) We were able to catch some stunning shots of her - Check them out.
