Cameron's First Recital

Cameron, our sweet little girl :) had her very first recital last Friday at UNCW's Kenan Auditorium. She taps for Techniques in Motion under the instruction of Ms. Terri. What a great show the T.I.M. school put on...I especially liked the old couple hip hop dance routine and the teen hip hop routine. We had a great time watching all the talented dancers. Cameron did great too...she nailed every move and man did she look cute in her pink too too. She even got to wear makeup and that is a major deal when you are 4 yrs old. I highly recommend T.I.M. school if you have a dancer in your family. She danced to a modern version of Itsy Bitsy Spider ! So cute. Here is a few shots of her getting ready...the program did not allow photography during the show :( but we did get to video the rehearsal....

Rebecca & Kenny 1st E-Pick

Becky and Kenny are getting married this fall on the beach at Shell Island...so where else to do an e-session than on the surf. Becky decided to do the session in Topsail Island right in front of the Hubbard House that has been in her family since the 1970's. We had a great time with them and here is a shot from their session that I really like :)

Kendra & Cameron 1st Pick

Thursdays on Oak Island sure can be fun as along as Kendra and Cameron join in. This cutie couple was hitched up just a few days ago on the 5th surrounded by family and a few fisherman)at an intimate morning ceremony. We only met this couple the morning of the wedding but I really enjoyed photographing their day, Kendra's tattoo really summed it up for me. I really hope they take me up on that Trash the Dress session :) Here are a few images from their wedding.

Congrats Guys....

Elise & Ross 1st Pick

Bloggers, you may recognize Ross and Elise for our blog many months ago: steamy beach pictures with waves crashing...loved it. This crazy couple was married May 31st on a ranch in Lewisville, NC. It was a beautiful ceremony...a little nontraditional but pretty. I can not wait to get some other shots online. Here is a few images from their formal shots. Enjoy :)

I love the in the grass shots...fun.
Congrats....

Sara Beth & Joshua

Last Friday we did something crazy... a session at 8:30 in the morning on Carolina Beach !! I think the sun is corrupting our rational line of thinking :) The session, despite the sun, came out great.

Sara Beth & Josh were actually married the day before at sunset on a sailboat...how romantic. We met up with the couple the next day and shot some family / couple images for them. The whole family was there and we got the chance to meet them... it was fun and what a cute couple. The image below... I love it... a sunset sky at 9:00 A.M. ~ cool. Congrats guys.

Randi & Aaron 1st Pick

Randi & Aaron are getting a jump start on their wedding planning. This *09 couple will be tying the knot at South Port Community Center next May. They decided to do something a little different and do their E-session at Hugh McCrae Park. Here is one of my favorite shots from their session.

Anna & Michael 1st Pick

We spent an evening with Anna and Michael a while back and did some E-pictures. We had a great time talking and hearing about their wedding plans. We even found out that Michael's family is right close family friends with Derick's uncle...small, small world. We started the shoot out down Shannon Lane at the family dock and ended up by the Carolina Beach Pier where the couple climbed the life guard tower. Both Anna's brother and dad were life guards on Carolina Beach, so that made it pretty cool. Here is one of my favorite images from their session.
