Whitney & Charles

Whitney and Charles were married on May 30th at Orton Plantation Chapel with their reception following at the UNCW Alumni House. This was our first time meeting Whitney & Charles - yeah- on the wedding day, so I was a little nervous. OMG..what a cool couple. We had a great time photographing them all day - you could really tell they were head over heels for each other. They had such an infectious laugh - so we laughed right along with them laughing at each other. And I have to throw this in- Whitney, girl, AYKM....drop dead gorgeous bride! Sunday Wedding

Man...we have not updated our blog in it seems like years - definitely wedding season. Our craziest months are now behind us and everything including the blog will get caught up! Today Derick went out with our super cool friend Chris VanAtta and helped with a wedding. Here are a couple of my favs - I rocked out this first one with a new texture I got - sweet lovin it. We have been super busy this wedding season. 22 weddings from mid April till July 4th, Crazy. Anyway I went to Carolina Beach on Friday and took some shots of the fireworks. Enjoy.

Stephanie and Justin were married on March 22nd ( yeah...we are behind some in blogging ) on the shore in front of the Carolina Beach Marriott. It was a beautiful day and fun wedding party. Sherry & Tommy

Sherry & Tommy were married March 21st on the waterfront in Scotts Hill. The ceremony site was beautiful. I love those aged oaks with the spanish moss. Sherry and Tommy had spotted this site one day as they boated along the waterway and fell in love with it. The ceremony was very family oriented with Tommy's daughter standing because Sherry as maid of honor and Sherry's son beside Tommy as best man. They wrote their own vows - even on Ace Hardware leader head :O) and I do not think anyone had dry eyes. The reception followed at Castle Bay Club in Hampstead. Adrian & John E-Session

Ashley's Senior Session

Ashley will be in the graduating class of 2009 from Ashley High this year. Man I sure do remember how happy I was to end my high school career way back in the day :O) To commemorate this event we decided to head out to Fort Fisher to do a senior session. This was our first senior session, so we really did not know exactly how to handle it. I figured we would just pretend she was a mobile bride or something - it worked. Ashley also was super - she did not need a lot of direction or coaching - I would love to have a bride with that natural ability every time. Here are a few shots from her session.
