Anna & Nich

Anna & Nich were married Saturday on Ocean Isle Beach with their reception following at the Isles Restaurant. It was a great day... laughed a lot and had a fun time. Anna & Nich were a very cute couple and their family was a hoot :O) Check out some of their images.

I only had to photoshop out like 75 people .... CRAZY .... A small piece of info for any of you bloggers going to a beach wedding or see a wedding happening on the beach..... please do not plop down right in front of the alter. My guess is that the wedding couple wants the ocean as their backdrop not tourist, plus their photographer might not be as nice as me !!

Shannon & Tom's 1st Pick

Shannon and Tom were married yesterday on the beach behind Shell Island with their reception following at the restaurant Nichola's on Oleander. Well this was quite a day :O) poor Shannon, I think that everything that could have gone wrong did LOL. First thing...Shannon was very nervous and it did not help any when her crinoline was extra tight. Second, her flowers froze in the frig :O( so 10 minutes before the ceremony I found myself not taking pictures but redoing a bridal bouquet. There was no way I was going to let her walk down the isle with brown, frozen flowers. Her bouquet turned out pretty well if I say so myself. The ceremony went perfect and the reception was very fun. Though it all we had a great time and Nicola's staff and food were absolutely wonderful !! Here are a few of their images.

Baby Mac

We got the pleasure of doing a very special family session for us on Tuesday. Susan and Jeremy were one of our wedding couple in October of 2006. They got to work right away popped out little baby Mac the following year...yeah you can do that math... A Honeymoon Baby !! These guys are such a wonderful couple and they sure did have a cute, cute, handsome baby. To add to this story, I got the pleasure on being Susan's mother-baby nurse when little Mac was born...rocked him in the nursery all night long. We had a great time during the photo shoot watching Mac play on the dunes. He was not really game for family shots but he loved his cameo....camera hog :O) We got lots of images with his throwing sand, crawling full speed down the dune and smiling the whole time. Update on photography processing

Hey Girls....

We have been getting numerous calls lately about time frame related to post production for wedding and portrait session photography. OK, well here is the nitty gritty truth of it :O) We try to do sessions in order of which they are photographed, unless the bride has the wedding date coming up within 3-4 weeks of the wedding then their session takes priority b/f wedding events. Normal wedding processing can take anywhere b/w 3-6 weeks after the wedding date. If it has been 6 weeks after your wedding date and you have not seen your images online then shoot us a call otherwise please be patient. You can note that photoreflect post a date on its website that says date captured...well that is the date in which I post them online not the date in which they were photographed. As far as weddings go they are all done in order we take them. Below is our list of weddings and sessions that will need to be process from June to the middle of August. Also listed beside them are the date they were photographed and posted. Go below to see what order your event falls in. Derick and I spend at least 5 hours a day in front of the computer...so we are getting them done as soon as possible. I know it is hard to wait!!! but again please be patient, this is only a two person show.

Summer & Brian 1st Pick

Summer and Brian decided to do their E-Session at Orton Plantation. While we were walking though the gardens they were whispering and chatting about the beauty of the gardens and what it would be like to be a plantation owner...so cute. We had a great time with them...eager and willing to do anything I asked to to do. Whata bunch of cuties. Here is a sneak peak of their garden session.

Nicole and Rich are getting hitched in August so we went down to old Fort Fisher to grab some engagement shots of them. Rich was a little nervous but did great. We caught some really cute shots of them here is a peak.

Lindsay & Kurt's 1st Pick

Lindsay & Kurt ...the early birds...were married at 06:30 in the morning on July 15 at sunRISE :O) This was a first for us but we had a lot of fun. Everyone was in good spirits and very emotional about the day...it was great. Lindsay and Kurt were such a great couple...I could tell they were very much in love...awww. We were a little anxious about how the sun would be and if the light would be harsh but it actually turned out great. I am very pleased and excited about their images...here is a sneak peak.

Chris & Regina's E-Session

Regina & Chris are getting married in September, so we headed out to do their e-session on Wednesday. Regina wanted to do the session at FF but I suggested we also go down to the Boardwalk at Carolina Beach. Boy did it pay off...we were able to get some really cool shots of the couple...even some a little sexy :O) Of course then we headed out to the beach. Below are some of their images, normally I do a first pick of one image, but I just could not decide this time.
